Let me put things in one phrase “Borneo is Asia, Asia is Borneo”. Tell me what can’t you find in Borneo? Apart from being the biggest island in the world, Borneo is not only unique because it consist of 3 countries, but also because it boast of over 80 tribes and ethnics. Anyone care to beat those facts?

In the last post, I stated how I wasn’t really pleased with MyEG because I had to pay extra for my road tax, yet I was in Sarawak, and my car is used in Sarawak. Well, I did however take some consolation because the officer I called said that my road tax would bear the ‘Sarawak’ edition, a.k.a the local edition. I figured, RM70 is ‘okay’, considering I don’t have to go out of the house. It’s saving fuel, time and money. Well, here’s part of my new 2010-2011 road tax:

Recently, a girl named Hani Tarmizi posted on Facebook how ‘jungle’ Sarawakian girls are. She claimed that girls from Sarawak are from the village and in a way ‘cheap’ (’sluts’ sound so harsh). You could enlarge the photo above, and you’ll see what she has said.

I’m hugely dissapointed with a small group of people in Malaysia. Yes, the Malaysian High court has allowed Catholic newspaper ‘Herald’ to use the word ‘Allah’, which means that the word is not exclusive for Muslim only, and that is great for me, by any standards! I mean, if you are talking about 1Malaysia, this is the best example which can be set, the sharing of terms. Even better when we are talking about ‘memartabatkan bahasa kebangsaan‘. Don’t you find it ironic that the same people opposing the use of ‘Allah‘ in the Herald is also fighting for the use of BM in Science and Maths?
