This event was stated as “STRICTLY BY INVITATION ONLY“, and I almost skipped it! Serious. I thought I couldn’t make it because I was covering Toys “R” Us, but thank God and thank Kenny because I was invited, and I managed to go.

“Bloggers are nice people“.. which isn’t a remark you’d expect after being introduced as a blogger. Well, that’s practically what Ghandi David said when his wife Anne introduced us (Amiey, Fahriee , Norman and I). The remark, took me by surprise, as I always figured that people in tuxedos would try to avoid bloggers at all cost, let alone actually compliment us.

Okay, this will be a really short update, I hope. I talk more in my blog than I actually do when in person, so yea.. maybe it will be a rather medium post after all.
Anyway, I skipped the whole morning session because I had to work, and I had to attend a meeting. The meeting lasted till 430pm, and I rushed to pick up my white shirt from my parents house in 9th Mile.

The title says everything. I was indeed at the Rainforest World Music Festival 2009, code name Rain-fest for short. It is an annual event organized by the Sarawak Tourism Board (STB), and it is completely, if not hugely bragged about by many past goers. This year, I had the advantage to go, and my verdict: FANTASTIC!! (although, I have a few reservations)
