I just got out of the shower when Emy told me that one of my friend is messaging her. I drew not much attention as it wasn’t a big deal until she said that he had asked her out. That’s when my eye’s rolled up. Yup, messaging is one thing, but clearly asking someone out is a whole new arena.
Still, I didn’t want to jump to conclusions… and so, I messaged my friend up telling him in the most straightforward word by stating I’m not really pleased he is trying to take Emy out. I wanted to know what’s all this thing all about. I guess his eyes rolled up as well, because he was obviously surprised… I think, by then, we both realised that its all a misunderstanding as he actually means that Emy and I should go out together to meet him up.
Urgghh… Felt like an idiot doing such an act. No, an idiot is not even the most accurate word to describe me at that moment. I think the word ‘jerk‘ would be more appropriate.
Anyway, I ended up messaging this friend a little more, and finished up with a little more info on him which was really cool since he is more or less my age. My impression on him didn’t change, as I continue to regard him as a good guy. Em, done with that, and I decided to joke around with Emy on this issue, by saying I’ve made a deal to settle this issue ‘man to man‘ tonight. I guess I was so convinced that it was a small petty thing, that she’d just take it all as a practical joke, and we’d laugh together in the end.
Damn!! I was wrong. She turned sour, and got angry and now, she ain’t speaking to me. Talk about making a bad call. I should have known better. Talk about being the more ‘matured’ person.
So now, I’m screwed. The one person I care about most is currently angry with me for something dumb I did… and another person whom I disgust most until I had to make a police report sent me a text message saying “Cyril, can we meet. XXXXX ni” a few days ago.
No, there’s no chance I’m meeting up with this girl(which I disgust) even if she’s the last person on this planet. After all she has done to me, inclusive of spreading so many bad rumors about me, she can count me TOTALLY OUT of her life. And as for Emy… well… here’s where it gets complicated. Like I said, I’m pointlessly screwed!!

it reminds me of the time when me and partner went thru a stage where we had to check each other’s blog to know what the other’s really think instead of picking up calls, or meet face to face to discussed stuffs to be resolved. decided that it’s not really healthy for our relationship in longer terms though.

In the Dewan Undangan Negeri you can choose to retract your statements or SMS. Once you retract the statement it is as if had never happened. The joke was with good intentions but what happened was a simple misunderstanding. I can see only one thing here – you thought you know her well and she thinks she knows you well. It seems you need more time to understand one another. Words said or expressed can be deleted, but a wonderful friendship should not be deleted over a minor incident.

Because if she is, it’s understandable how she wud react if you try to run every boy out of her life, like ur a jealous bf or something, and she can’t handle those boys herself.
